Our Story
A tradition of hospitality that began decades ago and continues to welcome travelers from around the world to Bryce Canyon country.
Lamar & Ethel LeFevre
The story of our hospitality begins long before our properties did, rooted in the genuine warmth of Lamar and Ethel LeFevre. Their home was always open.

The Original Home
Built in the 1930s and purchased by our family in 1952, the original house laid the foundation for decades of family memories.
The First B&B in Tropic
After a major renovation in 1987, we proudly opened our doors in 1990 as Tropic's very first Bed & Breakfast, welcoming travelers from around the world.

A New Generation
In late 2019, Austin's family purchased and carefully renovated the property, honoring its history while updating it for modern travelers. We reopened in 2020.
Happy Trails
The name 'Happy Trails' pays homage to Grandpa Lamar, whose signature farewell to family and friends was always: 'Love ya, happy trails!'
Our Family Today
Today, we operate four distinct properties, continuing our family tradition of sharing this beautiful corner of Utah with visitors seeking comfort, adventure, and genuine hospitality.
